Only Strength ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Only Strength mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.
a) Information You Provide
- Account information: name, email address, password
- Profile information: role (Athlete, Coach, Gym), body weight, fitness goals
- Content: community posts, comments, workout logs, progress photos
b) Information Collected Automatically
- Location data: approximate and precise location, used solely to find gyms near you (only while the app is open)
- Voice/audio input: microphone access used only when you interact with the AI Virtual Coach feature
- Device information: device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, FCM push notification token
- Usage data: app features accessed, workout activity, session timestamps
- Advertising ID (Google AD_ID): used for analytics and attribution
c) Payment Information
Payments for subscriptions, store purchases, and expert tier plans are processed by third-party payment processors. We do not store your full card details.
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account
- Deliver and personalise workout programs and coaching content
- Power the AI Virtual Coach chat feature
- Show nearby gyms based on your current location
- Send push notifications about programs, coaches, and announcements
- Process purchases and subscriptions
- Analyse app usage to improve features
- Comply with legal obligations
Our App integrates the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policy:

We request access to your precise and approximate location only to display gyms near you. Location is accessed only while the app is in the foreground. We do not track your location in the background or share it with third parties for advertising purposes.
Microphone access is requested solely for the AI Virtual Coach voice input feature. Audio is processed in real time and is not stored on our servers beyond what is necessary to generate a response.
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with:
- Service providers listed above, to operate the App
- Coaches you connect with, who can view your assigned workout progress
- Law enforcement or regulators, when required by law
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
Our App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time (e.g. location or microphone permissions via your device settings)
- Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/WSS) and secure token-based authentication. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the App or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
